“Come one, come all… You are royally invited to the Enchanted Holiday Ball!”

Do you have a little one that loves pretending to be royalty? Well this could be your chance to escort them to a royal ball! Enchanted Princess Parties is hosting their biggest event of the year at the Oasis Centre on 177 Street, in Edmonton, on Saturday, December 21, 2019.

Their Enchanted Holiday Ball will have two sessions that day (11:00am and 2:30pm), each running two hours long. When you arrive after parking in the large free parking lot, the children will be presented with a complementary crown or tiara. It’s promised to be a magical experience.

I got the chance to speak with Mackenzie, one of the staff at Enchanted Princess Parties, who told me that with each ticket, attendees get to interact with the Princes and Princesses, enjoy a variety of Princess themed desserts, have light snacks such as veggies with cheese and crackers, and drink some Princess Punch. There will also be balloon making and glitter tattoos, as well as performances that are sure to dazzle you. Oh, and another thing: they will have a backdrop where children can pose with the attending royalty, and a second backdrop for their special guest: Santa!

As for the number of royal subjects you will get to see, there are currently fifteen scheduled to attend; one more than they had originally planned! Mackenzie slipped me a few names, and it sounds like the Snow Queen, Little Mermaid, Cinderella, and the Beauty Princess are a few who will be making your ball experience special.

They will not be having any merchandise for sale, but Mackenzie said they “will be hosting a raffle for a Transformation Princess Dress, that magically changes to a new dress when the princess twirls”. If you don’t win the raffle, it’s all right, you will still have the crown or tiara as a memento and the pictures you take at the backdrop stations. Be sure to bring your own camera. They do have a professional photographer, but they will be taking candid pictures of the event.

If you have a child under one, their ticket is free; but for everyone else, each ticket is $70 and must be purchased in advance. Their sales are off the charts; I would hurry if you want to go. Be prepared to be standing and dancing your session away, there are not any sitting tables at the venue, and any strollers will have to remain outside to conserve space for all the magic inside.
